Influences:
Jazz fusion from the likes of Brand X, Allan Holdsworth, Bill Bruford and others as well as more popular, but musically & technically progressive, bands like King Crimson and Yes definitely had an influence during those 'formative years'. More recently the 'short-list' of artists that have captured attention are varied in their respective styles; Tori Amos, Michael Hedges, The Sundays, Oregon, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Nine Inch Nails, Sheryl Crow, Smashing Pumpkins, Shadowfax, Paul Simon, Alice in Chains, Bach's Brandenburg Concertos,... really the list could go on and on because there is no pretense to these influences other than "sounds good to me", and everything to which we enjoy listening probably has some degree of impact.
More details to follow soon... Meanwhile, on to the implements!
